As a marketing intern, within our Marketing Organization, you will:

  • Contribute to the development of the marketing strategy
  • Develop campaign from brief to in market launch
  • Lead social and digital strategy support
  • Source and develop content for on-product and in-market usage
  • Partner cross-functionally to ideate, prioritize, and deliver frictionless customer experiences
  • Develop business case analysis and validate products and services with end customers
  • Create buy-in for the marketing vision both internally and with key external partners
  • Act as an HP Brand Ambassador and reinforce the brand at every step of product development and delivery

Role Specifics

This position is within the US Consumer Print Marketing Team. The team is responsible for end-to-end marketing for all US Consumer Print Products and Supplies. The US Consumer Print Products team markets not only printers but also Instant Ink, HP Original Ink and HP Smart App. The US Consumer Print Marketing Team owns and develops marketing strategy and plans aligned with business goals, develops and executes the marketing plans with a focus on social, digital, engaging content and influencer marketing. Measurement, optimization, insights and creating the right customer experience in-store and online is also the responsibility of this team.

The summer internship on the US Consumer Print Marketing team will include 1-2 large important projects for which the intern will be responsible for leading, from kick-off, analysis, creation of solutions, to presenting recommendations to management. The intern will tap into cross-functional and marketing team expertise to drive the project. At the end of the summer, the intern will ensure that the project is handed off to a marketing team member for continued implementation. In addition to the primary project(s), the internship will include exposure and responsibility for some of the day-to-day functions of the consumer marketing team, to get a good understanding for full-time roles.

Upon returning to campus, we'd love for the intern to be an ambassador for HP and help educate others on campus for what marketing at HP is all about.
