Procurement Coordinator
Location: Cambridge MA
Duration:12 +months

Seeking a Procurement Coordinator (Contractor) to support our Manufacturing and Development Operations. This individual will assist to procuring materials in support of Operations across multiple sites and product lines. This individual will communicate Purchase Order requirements to Vendors and coordinate deliveries to facility and third-party storage partners. Interested in candidates that have cGMP experience and have utilized ERP Systems to procurement direct materials.

Procurement Coordinator (Contractor) RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supports Network by managing Direct Material Purchase Orders
  • Communicates Purchase Order Requirements to Vendors
  • Partners with Site Operations and Supply Chain Planning to understand material requirements and timing to meet production schedules
  • Utilizes Software and Tools to order, track and communicate material readiness
  • Review Supplier Open Order Reports, tracks materials through receipt
  • Identifies and communicates Supply Risk.
  • Identifies mitigation strategies and alternative parts as required
  • Supports Procurement Projects and Improvement Initiatives
  • Assist with material receipt issues, coordinate returns and resolve discrepancies
  • Review Accounts Payable Invoices to confirm material receipt prior to payment issuance

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or 5 years proven experience in biotech / manufacturing environment
  • Understand of cGMP Manufacturing and Good Documentation Practices
  • ERP / MRP knowledge Experience with Formal systems
  • Strong Collaboration and Communication Skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment

Preferred qualifications:

  • Advanced Degree
  • APICS CPIM Certification
  • ERP System Experience (Oracle / SAP Preferred)
  • Cell, Gene Therapy and Medical Device Experience
  • Experience with Quality Exceptions Systems
