Senior Electrical Engineer
Position Overview

At Aurora Flight Sciences, we design, build, and fly advanced aircraft and enabling technologies from concept to reality. We are searching for a talented and self-motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to help us create the future of flight. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

Responsibilities

- Electronic system and/or subsystem definition and development.
- Subject matter expertise in support of multiple programs.
- Project leadership for electrical systems and/or subsystem design.

Minimum Requirements

- BSEE or equivalent technical degree.
- Candidates must be U.S. Persons (U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident/Green Card Holder).

Preferred Requirements

Candidates will have experience in multiple areas below:

- Electrical and/or Computer Engineering.
- Board-level or box-level product development.
- Aircraft Avionics.
- Fault Tolerant Systems Analog and Power Electronics.
- High Speed Digital Electronics DO-160.
- DO-178 or DO-254 ARP4761.
- ARP4754 MIL-HDBK-516.
- MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-704.
- Vehicle Command and Control.
- Technical Project Management.
- Electric Actuation and Propulsion.
- Vehicle Communication Systems.
- Wiring & Harness Design.
- EDA tools.
- 3D Design tools.
- Simulation and modeling tools.

Experience Levels (an advanced degree may qualify for years of experience):

- BS plus 10 years of relevant experience or MS plus 8 years of relevant experience, or PhD plus 5 years of relevant experience.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift 10kg.

Salary Range (Annualized USD)
  • Minimum Range: $105,000.00 to $187,000.00
  • Maximum Range: $129,000.00 to $229,000.00
