Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Assembly Operator

Job Description
ATC has an opening for an SMT Assembly Operator proficient in the use of both automatic and semi-automatic pick-and-place systems, screen printers and reflow ovens to assemble low-volume quantities of high reliability printed wiring boards (PWBs) for space applications.

Position Requirements include:
- Proficient in the setup and operation of Knowledge of SMT screen printers, automatic and semi-automatic pick-and-place systems and reflow ovens
- Ability to understand and implement SMT operations per drawings and assembly procedures
- Ability to perform tasks using a microscope
- Attention to detail in the preparation for and SMT assembly of complex PWBs
- Strong soldering skills with both through-hole and SMT components
- Certifications to J-STD-001 and J-STD-001 Space Addendum are a plus
- Good communication skills
- Must pass eye exam
- U.S. Citizenship required
