Job Description
ATC has an opening for a Hands-on Assembly Supervisor/Lead Person with experience in assembly of space, aerospace and military electronics modules and systems to train and supervise 10-15 assembly operators.  The capabilities and responsibilities of this individual include:
  • Strong soldering and mechanical assembly skills with knowledge of assembly processes in hand assembly and automatic/semi-automatic Surface Mount Technology (SMT) assembly
  • Current or recent certifications to J-STD-001 AND J-STD-001 Space Addendum.  CIT Certification is a plus.
  • Proficient in space flight cable assembly operations with training to NASA-STD-8739.4 Certification to IPC-WHA-620 and 620 Space Addendum.  NASA Level B Instructor Training and/or IPC CIT Cable training is a plus
  • Proficient in polymerics-staking, bonding and conformal coating assembly operations. Certification to NASA-STD-8739.1B is a plus but willing to train the right individual
  • Ability to read and understand assembly drawings and assembly procedures
  • Leadership, team building, problem-solving and effective communication skills required
  • Clean room training is preferred but will train the right individual
  • Must pass eye exam
  • US Citizenship is required
