At Aurora Flight Sciences, we design, build, and fly advanced aircraft and enabling technologies from concept to reality. We are searching for a talented and self-motivated IT Enterprise Systems Manager to help us create the future of flight. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
-Serve as a leader, mentor and consultant to the Enterprise Information Systems team, providing them with guidance and support to ensure project success.
-Lead the development, implementation, and management of cloud and on-premises solutions to meet the organization's needs.
-Drive the modernization of our technology infrastructure to enhance efficiency, scalability, and security.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize IT initiatives aligned with business goals.
-Provide guidance and support to ensure program success.
-Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and methodologies to improve IT operations.
-Monitor system performance and security, implementing proactive measures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with industry standards.
-Develop and maintain documentation policies, and procedures related to IT.
-Improve productivity through automation and system development.
-Oversee IT business continuity and disaster recovery strategy.
-Provide visibility for various data points to include equipment lifecycle and cost through metrics, dashboards, and reporting
-Must be a US Person
-B.S. in Information Technology, related field, or equivalent work experience
-8+ years of IT experience in cloud, networking, system administration
-Proven experience in managing cloud and on-premises solutions, in a complex organizational environment.
-Strong understanding of networking principles, system engineering, automation, and system architecture
-Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
-Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
-Experience with operating systems such as Linux RHEL, Ubuntu, and Windows.
-Knowledge of industry best practices, standards, and regulations related to IT infrastructure.
-Secret clearance or eligibility to receive.
-Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect expert.
-Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as GitLab, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, or Ansible.
-Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management frameworks such as Kanban or Scrum.
-Proficiency in SharePoint development
-Working knowledge of DFARS 252.204-7012, NIST 800-171, ISO 27001/2, NISPOM, Risk Management Framework, or FedRAMP
-Experience with the following technologies: Sharepoint, OpenAI, VDI, Kubernetes, Docker, HPCs,
-Physically lift up to 35 pounds
-Can be located out of either our Cambridge, MA or Manassas, VA office
