Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Following established methods and procedures must be able to perform the following operations necessary to assemble various types of components or gear housings, such as liners, and threaded inserts.
- Use and be familiar with assembly and measuring tools, interpret visual aids and must be able to perform simple shop math.
- Operate a heat treat oven to specifications, monitor heat input, heat soak, and temperate readings.
Education & Experience Required:
- Minimum of high school diploma and 3 years of related factory experience.
- Must have a good command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Possess good mechanical aptitude and skilled with assembly of mechanical componentsCondition parts in extreme cold bath using hydrogen to shrink parts and then insert in corresponding component.
